She had a name among the children; But no one loved though someone owned Her, locked her out of doors at bedtime And had her kittens duly drowned.
In Spring, nevertheless, this cat Ate blackbirds, thrushes, nightingales, And birds of bright voice and plume and flight, As well as scraps from neighbours’ pails.
I loathed and hated her for this; One speckle on a thrush’s breast Was worth a million such; and yet She lived long, till God gave her rest. (Edward Thomas, A Cat)
I found you in a round about way from Willow's posts; when I clicked your profile I was immediately intimidated and thought "Ohh jeez - is eruditely beyond my capabilities." Then I noticed that you enjoy Airplane! - ahh common ground. I'll stop by.
Hey, BPG! While shopping at Sams Club last week I saw that they now sell Guiness! I immediately thought of you! :) Hope you're doing well! Are you in that little lakefront vacation home in the header? ;) You could at least stick your head out the window and waive!
Hi, As you noted onn Joels walls and bridges site - yes please check out some good graphic novels.
It STILL a little known fact that comics are also made for adult, mature readers with sophisticated stories lines. Contrary to the popular image of comics as being for kids, the average graphic novel is actually MORE sophisticted in theme and approach than the average film.
- In my hugely biased opinion, since i am a comic book writer too! Best, Sean Michael
Is your blog now an ex-blog? Tried the email the link on the profile but of course it wants to use Outlook...I'm sure Blogger changed that...but anyway, wanted to say hello and how are you.

I'm wondering..did your last hike lead you anywheres near an active volcano?
We organized a search party for you, but finished off your cold chicken and biscuit rations before we left our little blog cabin.
I guess you're on your own now, G.
