Perhaps this why reincarnation is appealing.

That was a great read and I was not surprised.;)
Luckily, I have no regrets, I have lived my life as I believe, pursuing happiness at all costs.;)

Goodness, thank you G so much for sharing this - I've just forwarded it to several, including my hubby who retired 6 yrs. ago, went back the next day as a consultant, now works full time again - and has b'day #72 coming up this year!! Only thing is, he loves working, wouldn't know what to do without it I fear, and has worked for the same company over 50 yrs. I don't really mind if he's happy - and this year may be the last for his work as we'll be traveling so often - perhaps they'll fire him this time around!

I'm also sharing with some younger friends - THEY really need to read this.

Again thanks - and thanks to all those caregivers out there who, besides caring and helping, have the sense to listen to their patients and then make us aware of this one precious life we each have.

Hugs - Mary

I think if you love working, why not keep doing it. It's rare enough that we love what we do. I'm lucky that way, but still... am thinking of that wise caregiver's words...
