The Martin Goodman Trail is the Toronto section of the Lake Ontario Waterfront trail. I often walk part of it, and here are some shots from this evening's amble. I don't know the names for many things... if you can identify them, that would be most welcome!

Oooo...stunning pix, Ace Girl Photographer! I especially like the Queen Anne's Lace. We always call bullrushes "cat tails" down here in the midwest. And your tree hugging shot is sooo charming!:)
What a gorgeous Princess that is hugging the tree! We call those bullrushes cat-tails!
Beautiful photography...thanks for letting us enjoy the walk with you!
It was so beautiful tonight - a perfect cool twilight walk. Thanks for sharing it with me, my friend. I, too, am curious about the bobbly, yellow plant - they looked like wee, furry, mustard grapes... and that is my official botanical term for them! :)
BPG,
Sorry I can't identify any of your picture flowers. What a beautiful place you have to walk. So how many trees does this nature's child hug each day anyway? :)
Thanks for sharing these great pictures. Have a great day!

Awesome shots, all of them. I esp. like those sumacs....they have terrific fall color, too. Looks like it was a nice amble!
You should make your own greeting cards with these pretty photos! And personally, I like the name Dandelion on Steroids. We should make that one official.
Edward and I would love to take your pathway for our evening walk sometime! It looks just lovely.
No self respecting sea captain would let his freighter be that clean....its downright unnatural!
I think that was extraordinarily gentlemanly of bigfoot to snap that photo of you.
Sometimes...all you have to do is ask. :)
You love to huf those trees. I wish I got up to Toronto this summer.
Thanks for your visits and comments everyone!
(Phil, Bigfoot was being a bit sulky so I asked Suza and she complied!)
hello there, first trip to your lovely blog and I've really enjoyed it. I do 'walks' near where I live in Ireland, do come and have a look if you have time.
I think, though I'm not entirely sure, that the yellow bobbly stuff is mimosa.
See you soon,
BT
