Thanksgiving Day in Canada

“Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow.”

Melody Beattie (I read this quote the first time on Willow's blog).

You know, I think it's time for the good ol' U.S. of A. to invade Canada and stomp out all that warm and fuzzy, happiness stuff. And, we will be confiscating all yer pies too.

I love this! I may have to steal it for my sidebar!

The pie looks perfect!

Bill: You know, International Talk Like a Pirate Day is September 19!

Betsy: Please do! I borrowed it from your lovely sister after all. :) The pie was fine, but apple isn't my favourite. But it's the time of year and all that. We have great apples here in Ontario, but I prefer just to eat them as is. Now... if we're talking peaches, or strawberry/rhubarb, then Bill and all his pirate hoard would have no chance whatsoever.
