He Just has one Question

We popped the cork and celebrated as Obama made his speech in Grant Park last night.

Tibby has just one concern:

"A PUPPY????"

Tibby will probably have a wing of his own if he visits Washington, so I would reassure him about the puppy. What a glorious night... and more glorious days to follow I am sure. Have a glass for me, BPG!

Hmmm...I wonder if there were ever any White House cats?

Tibs looks *most* offended!

Yes, there was a White House cat owned by Chelsey Clinton. The Pres was allergic to him which made his nose even redder.

Hi BPG....an award awaits you at the birdbath...

Suza: Yes, hic~!

Willow: Yes, do you remember Socks Clinton? He was all bent out of shape after Bill brought in the chocolate lab. Why do I know these things? Oh yes, this was in my People magazine-reading period. :)

Lavinia: He can put on that look pretty easily, hee hee!

Joy: I had no idea! Thanks for the visit, I'm coming over to see you next. :)

Lavinia: Ohhh! Thank you! I'm on my way to pick it up. Just getting my hair done and picking up a loaned tiara from Harry Winston.

Yes whats up with all the white house dogs? I have never heard of a cat there. Oh I forgot about Socks. It must be a mandatory thing. Wonder what they will get.
Someone suggested the White House has never has Chiwawa.

A truly inclusive White House could make room for a couple of cats! Start a petition! :)

Aren't you Canadian?

Glamah: I reckon there's room for quite the menagerie. I think a cat *and* a puppy would be great... all in the name of opposite sides coming together. :)

Dave: You said it mister - thanks for the link, that was a great article.

Captn: I am indeed. And was very moved on Wednesday, as I walked through downtown Toronto to see a young woman come out of a building to help a man unload some boxes she was expecting... softly they were both singing "Yes we can... yes we can" with big smiles on their faces. Neighbours, what happens to you effects us and yes, I'm glad Obama is President Elect.
