Scotch and Sparklies...

Host: Can I top up your scotch?

Me: No thank you. I can't drink much. This will probably last me the evening.

Host: Wow, you must be a pretty cheap date.

Me: Well, the cost of the jewelry adds up.

Point taken I trust? From a past party.

As one who knows you, I can attest that all your jewellery (that I've seen, anyway) is in the very best possible taste. Flattering, often discreet, and uniquely suited to you.

Thank you for the charming compliment, O Anonymous One.

Speaking of your good taste, Gel treasures the pink drop earrings you gave her once, and I treasure the blue-stone brooch in the shell shape that you once gave me. Impeccable taste indeed.

Well, you should be bejewelled and re-bejewelled on a regular basis.

Jewelled...and rejewelled...?
Oh, I quite agree. Now if only Harry Winston felt the same way!
