The day has dawned in a fittingly beautiful way - not a cloud in the sky, everything bathed in a golden-pinky hue... the promise of spring (at last) and - for those who believe - the promise of so much more.

It's been gray and dreary around these parts, but warm--the piles of snow all melted in one mad rush. Yesterday afternoon and evening, more snow fell. This morning, as I look out the window, a bright blue sky appears to banish the last remaining clouds to the edge of the eastern horizon.
