"Bones of the dead"? Is this anything close to "Death by Chocolate", Dark of course!! These morsels look pretty tasty. May I try one? Thanks! Where can I get some of these anyway? Trader Joe's? SOMA.. I'll have to remember this one.
Thanks for the head ups concerning "Two Pianos Four Hands"... I'd love to see it... It sounds great.. My post about "The Piano Teacher" has me thinking I should write a screen play... the plot could go in many directions.. and probably would be a hit... and of course it would have to be a period movie...
I have a bone to pick with you! Are you trying to steal my seat as the world's first and foremost Dark Chocolate lover? :) I don't eat any other kind anymore.

Tee-hee-hee-hee-hee!! Since we are thinking along these lines, why not combine them with chocolate? Too, too funny!! :D

Soma is a great chocolate place in Toronto. Their drink of the gods is to die for:

As for your seat... yes, I'm claiming it! I've doffed my glove and thrown it at your feet in bold challenge Sir!

Willow ~ I can imagine them dipped in chocolate, that would be heavenly!! They are very hard hazelnut biscuits, made for dunking...

Blog Princess G,
What is going on here. I tried going into www.2pianos4hands.com but it comes up no link found..oh, well, it would be fun to go see it anyway!

The dual is on. Your choice of weapons, my lady. Swords or pistols? all made of dark chocolate, of course. :)

Oh, by the way, did you see the dual in Onegin? I get all emotional at the end of it every time I see it. This is a big favorite of Willow's too.

Hmmmm, Soma. Are we also referring to the psychotropic drug of Huxley's Brave New World? Afterall, it was used as an escape from pain and unpleasant memories. Huxley’s Soma was very popular in that those that took it got blissed-out and jolly.

Primroses and landscapes, he pointed out, have one grave defect: they are gratuitous. A love of nature keeps no factories busy. It was decided to abolish the love of nature, at any rate among the lower classes; to abolish the love of nature, but not the tendency to consume transport. For of course it was essential that they should keep on going to the country, even though they hated it. The problem was to find an economically sounder reason for consuming transport than a mere affection for primroses and landscapes. It was duly found.
(Aldous Huxley, Brave New World)

I think it’s time for my daily soma ration. A gramme is better than a damn.

Sir Bachelor: Yes, indeed, death by chocolate is the way to go, and I'm well stocked with weaponry. As for Onegin... yes, I know the duel scene well. The whole thing makes me limp with yearning. After a good performance of the opera or the ballet, I have to walk and walk to let that delicious melancholy work its way through me.

Bill ~ I read that once about Soma when I was first googling it. Maybe that's why they named their chocolate establishment that... their Mayan drink of the gods is a powerful substance.

Betsy ~ you sure need to dunk, or they might break a tooth! Hee hee.

R.A.D. ~ I have to read that. I tend to list hopefully towards utopias than dystopias. I hope you got your gramme of soma. :)
