Rare lavender seed pods from Brazil?
Whatever they are, they look spicy hot...haa haa. I would say you'd need an ice cold beer. :)
Totally clueless. What are those?
Tamarind?
They're tamarinds. How do I know this? Because I clicked on the image to get a closer look and you'd helpfully labelled it!
Are you certain those aren't the pods from "Invasion Of The Body Snatchers"?
You beat me to it, Bill. That's the first thing I thought of.~p:)
OK ~ now we want to know what you do with them. Share the recipe! :)
I love the imaginative guesses! But Coco and Anonymous are right... they're tamarind pods. You break them open and eat the date-like flesh inside.Betsy, I've never made a thing with them.... yet.Bill and Phil: Body Snatchers... now those were two great movies, followed by a dog of a remake last year.
